The article presents multi-species, genome-wide, comparative approach to review male fertility-associated loci to contribute to the development of new genetic markers that could be of
interest for functional studies and have the potential to be implemented in farm animal breeding programmes. We reviewed 835 male fertility-associated candidate loci from seven species and presented them as bovine orthologues where possible. In this study, to clarify the disinfective process against Mycobacteria, EAW-treated bacteria were examined against laboratory strains of Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis), Mycobacterium smegmatis (M. smegmatis), and Mycobacterium terrae (M. terrae) by recovery culture and observation of morphology, enzymatic assay, and the detection of DNA.
